Ailesh (50 BE - 300 DE (7706 - 7356 BC)) was the second King of D'ni.

[edit] Career

Ailesh was apprenticed to Ri'neref when he wrote Earth's Descriptive Book and was appointed to Grand Master of the Guild of Writers on D'ni, despite never having been in Garternay's Guild of Writers. He worked closely with Ri'neref on the Oath that was to be taken by each member of the Guild of Writers.

In 120 DE (7536 BC) he succeeded Ri'neref on the throne of D'ni and modelled his life very closely to that of Ri'neref's. Much like Ri'neref before him, Ailesh chose to life in an ordinary home and refused to build himself a palace until a number of other buildings were completed. Under his direction the first Common Library was built in 233 DE (7423 BC).

Ailesh died of natural causes at the age of 350 and was succeeded on the D'ni throne by his third and youngest son, Shomat.

[edit] Family

Little is currently known about Ailesh's family, although it is known that he had three sons. The eldest two were viewed as rebellious and bad candidates for the D'ni throne while before Ailesh's death, his third son Shomat followed Ailesh's ideals.
