Amad

The Amad were a people dwelling in southwestern North America, remarkably advanced in that they possessed holographic technology. Gehn spent time among the Amad after leaving the Cleft and married one of them, Keta. Based on similarities in the imager technology, he believed they may have been related to the D'ni.
This theory was possibly just an example of Gehn's chauvunism, however, a number of D'ni did go to live on the surface during the early settlement of the cavern.
