The page was featured on the back of the Myst box, as a 'teaser' marketing attraction. It implied that the protagonist of the game, Atrus, was in some sort of danger and didn't manage to finish his phrase before something terrible happened to him.
Atrus had in fact only trapped himself in K'veer and there was no immediate danger to his life, as the page obviously implies; RAWA clarified that it's non-canon.
