Child of Fire

The Child of Fire is one of three possible metaphysical paths according to the Serenian belief system. In order to travel to the spirit realm of Dream, one must be accompanied by the most personally applicable of the three Spirit Guides as is determined by the Serenian Protectors. Protector Zanika presents Children of Fire with their journey cloth within the Hall of Spirits, ushering them on into the next leg of their spiritual journey:
- "It is as I suspected: you are a Child of Fire. Drawn by the excitement of new experiences, always seeking adventure over stasis. Sometimes your desire to succeed makes you miss the deeper meaning, but you always find the answers you seek when you really want them. You must seek the Fire Guide. Go to the stone forest, and seek him near the smoldering stones; the mark you now have in you will gain his attention. Be carrying the offering that most pleases his senses, and he should accompany you in Dream."
Zanika and Yannin are the two Children of Fire amongst the Serenian Protectors.
