The neighborhood classroom is an excellent place to host classes and lectures.
The classroom was most likely used by the ancient D'ni people to teach their children the basics of reading and writing. The D'ni alphabet is inscribed on the front wall of the classroom, along the border above the imager. D'ni numbers are displayed along the other three walls.
The DRC left several items in the classroom to help new explorers begin their journey. Placards on the back wall tell explorers how to find their KI. On the front desk is a notebook containing instructions on using the KI and Nexus. If there is a D'ni clock in that neighborhood, then there is also a sheet that describes the D'ni method of timekeeping. The imager displays several tips on how to find help at the Guild of Greeters neighborhood and the Beginners' Bevin.
