[edit] Out of Character

The following section is written from an OOC point of view. Events and elements surrounding the Myst Universe are regarded as fictional.

The DLRP project was started by RAWA in order to allow fans to help in expanding the vocabulary of D'ni, since RAWA's time was the primary bottleneck in releasing D'ni words. The project allows fans to construct and discuss potential new words and then propose them. Regularly, RAWA will chose one word from the proposed list and either add it to the official lexicon or explain why it is not viable. [2]

Some of the 'confirmations' have actually added more than one word, usually words that are directly related or were a key point of the discussion on the word.
