Deadwood Ridge
From MYSTlore
Deadwood Ridge is a region of the Edanna Age comprising the upper, exposed regions of the giant Eden Tree that makes up that age. It is the nesting location for the grossamery.
The upper regions of Edanna, including Deadwood Ridge are the only places which receive full sunlight, so they are home to a number of flowers, such as the Aurora Blossom and Lambent Orchid, that function specifically to reflect light down into the forest below.
[edit] Background
The following section is written from an OOC point of view. Events and elements surrounding the Myst Universe are regarded as fictional.
The name of this part of Edanna never appears in Myst III: Exile. However, the musical score that plays in the background when the player enters this area is titled Deadwood Ridge on Myst III: Exile: The Soundtrack.
