Dereno (Dereno, sometimes misspelled as Doreno) is a pod on the Pod Age discovered by the DRC during the second restoration. It was revealed to the public on March 15,2007. Outside the pod is an icy, arctic environment. The pod is half-submerged in a partially frozen ocean. Several species of aquatic wildlife are visible through the lower-level pod windows, and a vast expanse of tundra is visible from the middle and upper levels.
