According to Wiktionary, 'though' is an adverb, not a conjunction. So I put together an adverb template and used it in this article. Blade Lakem 11:54, 3 May 2008 (CDT)

The Wiktionary article is incomplete and/or confusing. As the article on 'although' says:

When conjunctions, the words "although" and "though" are generally interchangeable [..]

My understanding: when you can substitute "although" for "though", it's a conjunction. When you can substitute "however" for "though", it's an adverb.

If loymaht only supports one of the two usage cases, and if I'm reading the two examples in the article correct, I'd say Koena appears to be correct. Chucker 12:06, 3 May 2008 (CDT)

It looks like a conjunction to me. (Also, what is the source for the ultimate stress given in the IPA?) Talashar 07:14, 4 May 2008 (CDT)
The word has never been said aloud so there is no source. Gorobay (talkcontribs) 13:52, 11 May 2008 (CDT)
