An eder tomahn (eDer toman^[?]) is a way station along the tunnels from D'ni to the surface. Typical features include a KI Dispenser, a Nexus terminal, and a simple bed.

In the Cyan rendition of the eder tomahntee in Myst V: End of Ages, Direbo linking books and dome-style imagers could also be found.

In the present day, only one eder tomahn is accessible, through the Bahro stone at the end of the Tokotah Alley. It has a KI dispenser, Dr. Watson's journal, and a linking book pedestal without a book. In May 2007 ^{(Leefo 9663)}, the dispenser emitted a purple glow and molten sparks, and inserting the KI into the device caused the KI to glow for a few seconds. By June 2007 ^{(Leebro 9663)} the dispenser no longer sparked when a KI was inserted, and the glow lasted 5-10 times longer.
