Everdunes was one of Atrus's Ages, written while he lived on Myst Island. It was apparently a harsh desert age filled with unending sand dunes. Despite these harsh temperatures, Atrus discovered plant and animal life living underneath the dunes. The age was also apparently inhabited by Pran's people and the hostile Chochtic. Atrus also conducted experiments here for viewing ages with crystals found in the age, but failed due to the high temperature. This caused Atrus to relocate his experiments to Rime, where the temperature was much colder.
Everdunes was presumably ravaged by Sirrus and Achenar during their reign of terror. The book was presumably burned with many others. No link is currently known to exist.
