Fire Marble dome

Fire Marble Domes were built by Gehn on each of the islands of Riven.

Gehn's Linking books had inherent flaws. He devised the properties which they need to mechanically be powered and therefore functional.

Each dome housed linking books to his 233rd Age. Each rotated and was ringed with D'ni color symbols symbolizing the five islands.

Power was channeled from the Great Dome and the books could be accessed with a five-digit code.
