Guild of Maintainers

The Guild of Maintainers (telbErE[?], short for telok bErEtantE[?]) was the D'ni Guild responsible for lawkeeping. Maintainers also approved newly written Ages, made regular inspections of Ages to ensure their proper upkeep, and destroyed flawed books. They were also responsible for D'ni relations with ahrotahntee, making first contact and, by the 9000s DE (1345 AD), restructuring ahrotahn societies.
The symbol of the Maintainers was an open eye over a book. Their symbol color was burgundy.
The Maintainers had a base on Gahreesen for training new members.
Gehn instituted his own version of this Guild on Riven, whose members would police the other inhabitants.
