H'uru

H'uru is a group of people, programmers and artists alike, that gather on the COBBS forums to form an Uru Hacking Community. This group has figured out many of Uru's secrets, such as file formats and encryptions, and have written many tools to assist in the matter of hacking Uru.
They are very important in the history of Uru, in that they were instrumental in keeping interest in Uru alive after the cancellation of the beta.
Their many projects include:
- PyPRP: The Blender PRP Plugin
- PRPExplorer & H'uru Studio
- Fly-Mode patch
- ALCUGS servers
- KIRC patch
They are also the main source of information for learning how to create ages, textures, move objects and create tools.
They were instrumental in providing administration tools for the Untìl Uru Shards as well as hacks to add functionality. They worked for several years to be able to add additional ages from (The) Path of the Shell expansion pack, as well as creating original ages.
At the request of Cyan Worlds, the H'uru group has ceased actively creating new hacks for URU.
As a result of a cracking of the original H'uru forum in 2005, much of the original code was lost.
