[edit] DNA
At MO:UL Forums, Jacquet speculates that a clue towards common DNA between humans and D'ni (or Ronay, for that matter) is in Myst V: End of Ages: Yeesha appears surprised, at first, that the tablet responds to the stranger. If, as is reasonable to believe, the tablet was specifically designed to only respond to someone with Ronay DNA, this would inevitably require the stranger to have such DNA.
- Of course, this assumes that the Stranger is human. We don't know the identity; we don't know if it's the same Stranger as in Myst I through IV, so we don't technically know either whether they are human at all.
- Moreover, what if Yeesha already modified the tablet to work with other species? We can't rule anything out when it comes to Yeesha. :-) Chucker 10:13, 10 August 2007 (CDT)
- I haven't played the game but this 'Jacquet' says that Yeesha appears surprised. If she did modify the tablet then she wouldn't be surprised. Of course I don't know how Yeesha actually reacts in-game and I don't know what Jacquet means with 'surprised'. It would just be his impression. Koena 15:58, 21 August 2007 (CDT)
