Imager
From MYSTlore
An imager is a device for displaying pictures or information, either in two-dimensional or three-dimensional form. The D'ni used a variety of types of imagers, most frequently flat vertical screens or horizontal domes, while the Amad people on the surface projected images in spherical cages, powered by hand-cranks. Atrus experimented with holographic technology in many of his Ages. In Myst he had an imager in a basement which he disguised as a pool.
The Stranger had a photographic camera, which Yeesha called an image recorder.
Bevin has two imagers near the link-in point. The first imager shows a list of explorers that have recently entered the neighborhood as well as the top Ahyoheek players. The second imager is used by the neighborhood members to post pictures or upload messages. Bevin features one more imager located in the classroom, on which the DRC displays useful messages for new explorers.
A Relto page in the Great Zero courtyard adds an imager to Relto.
