Ja'kreen
From MYSTlore
Ja'kreen (475 - 812 DE (7181 - 6844 BC)) was a Guild Master in the Guild of Stone Masons before he became King of D'ni in 555 DE (7101 BC).
[edit] Life
Ja'kreen was enrolled in the Guild of Stone Masons and climbed within it to the rank of Guild Master. Due to unsuitability of Shomat's children, Ja'kreen was named the heir to the D'ni throne and became king in 555 DE (7101 BC). Like Shomat, Ja'kreen also had a prophetess of Yahvo to advise him. During Ja'kreen's reign he oversaw the reconstruction of the King's Arch (600 - 625 DE (7056 - 7031 BC)) and the building of the Temple of the Great King (completed in 643 DE (7013 BC)).
After his son's death around 664 DE (6992 BC), Ja'kreen became quick to anger and became considered extremely harsh. He eventually died in 812 DE (6844 BC), although not before he encouraged further development of Ae'gura and had the J'Taeri District named after his first son.
[edit] Family
Ja'kreen married and had a son with his first wife in 654 DE (7002 BC). However the son died less then ten years later from a disease that caused extremely high temperatures and brittle bones that were extremely sore. This had a marked effect on Ja'kreen and it is said he became dissatisfied with life. His wife then died around 674 DE (6982 BC).
In 700 DE (6956 BC) Ja'kreen remarried and had a son with his second wife in 717 DE (6939 BC) before having two daughters. Accusations were made that Ja'kreen abused his children, although they were never proven. However one of the prophets that advised him believing he didn't actually love his children. Although despite these claims, Ja'kreen did leave the throne to his sole remaining son, Veesha.
