Joining Ceremony

The Joining Ceremony was the culmination of the five-day D'ni marriage ceremony. It would take on one of the common Marriage Ages, or a Family Age for those who owned one. Family and friends attended and the ceremony was presided over by a priestess. After giving up their bracelets of purity and maturity, the bride and groom would make vows to Yahvo and each other and receive a ring and a new bracelet each. This was followed by a celebration and the departure of the couple to a vacation/honeymoon Age.
