Judges of Yahvo
From MYSTlore
The Judges of Yahvo (regolantantEok yavo[?] (regolahntahnteeokh Yahvo)) were a religious sect in early D'ni history. They believed that they were to execute judgment upon all who did not truly understand Yahvo. Led by Airis they sparked the Pento War in the 1300s DE.
In 1303 DE (6353 BC), a member of the Guild of Writers stole books and ink in order to write an age that would provide them with an army with which to conquer D'ni.
In 1320 DE (6336 BC), the Judges of Yahvo wrote a link to Pento and used the Age's inhabitants to make war upon D'ni. After thirty years they succeeded in killing Koreen and declared themselves the rulers of D'ni. However, they then began to fear that the Pento leader was growing too powerful and killed him as well, leading to a civil war among the Pento. The faction led by Mekarr allied with Koreen's son, Ahlsendar, and defeated the Judges and those Pento who continued to help them. The leaders of the Judges were sentenced to Prison Ages, the books for which were burnt.
The last known action of the Judges was to provide Mekarr with linking books to the Palace so he could kill Ahlsendar's wife and son. After this point they disappear from D'ni history.
