Jumping Dragon

The Jumping Dragon is a large plant native to the swamps of Edanna that bears a striking resemblance to the anthuriums found on Earth.

The flower consists of a broad, red spathe, crowned by dextrous green leaves curling into the air above it. Upon being stimulated, these are then capable of propelling the plant upward and grasping on to branches above it; because of its uncanny ability to support weight, the Dragon functions as a natural elevator for those traveling through the Age.
