K'veer (at Image:KI angle icon.png 1498 · Image:KI distance icon.png 811 · Image:KI elevation icon.png -72  ) is one of the islands in the D'ni cavern. Near the time of the Fall it was owned by Lord Rakeri, who lived there with his family and servants. After his death it was used by his son Veovis as a base for the plot to destroy D'ni.

Gehn used it as his home when he was attempting to build his empire, and taught Atrus there. After Atrus tried to run away, Gehn locked him in a room with a Linking Book to Riven, and in his attempt to escape the room using a stone-cutter Atrus caused a collapse of rock that blocked the entrance. During his life on Myst the only area of D'ni he had access to was this room, linked to through a green book.

When Sirrus and Achenar endeavored to get rid of their parents, they told Catherine that Atrus had used the green book, and she went to K'veer and then to Riven. They repeated this process with Atrus, taking a page from his Myst Linking Book so he would be trapped. He remained in K'veer, working to stabilize Riven, until the Stranger provided him with a link back to Myst. Several years later, with the help of the Averonese, Atrus would clear the fallen rock and access the rest of D'ni.
