King Mararon (924 - 1159 DE (6732 - 6497 BC)) was a king of D'ni.

[edit] Life

Mararon was the fifth son of King Veesha and was born in 924 DE (6732 BC). He joined the Guild of Maintainers and, in 974 DE (6682 BC) was injured during a visit to an Age. He fell into a coma and the Guild of Healers claimed he would never recover. However, three years later he awoke.

He took the throne in 997 DE (6659 BC) at the age of 73. During his reign he encouraged the D'ni to value life and removed many of the strict laws that his father had made concerning vows. He also placed the Common Schools under the Guild of Legislators and founded the 18 Minor Guilds (in association with Ti'Lanar).

Rumours say that Mararon lived life to the full, having numerous affairs and becoming addicted to various drinks and drugs.

He died at the age of 235 and left the throne to his son Koreen.
