The Lambent Orchid is a beautiful hanging flower found in the forests and lower regions of Edanna. Usually growing near bright light sources, their corolla of petals are capable of reflecting light quite spectacularly, and thus exist symbiotically with the Aurora Blossoms and Tongue Ferns that have managed to take root in the dark swamps.
Lambent Orchids play an important part in one of the Age's puzzles, as well; sunlight filtered through an Aurora Blossom is needed to empty the nearby Quaffler Fig pod of its contents, and so the orchids supply the needed light by way of reflection.
