According to Cyans usage guidelines, it's okay to use "30 seconds of sound from" [...] "Ages more than 1 year from release". Does that include music? I think it would be useful to illustrate the articles on Robyn Miller, Tim Larkin and Jack Wall with some of their music. It could also be nice to have parts of the main theme for each game. I'm thinking 30 sec clips, ogg or mp3 format. Would that be okay, legaly? 0123456789 10:13, 23 November 2006 (CST)

"Does that include music?" Presumably, yes. You can always e-mail Cyan Legal if you're unsure. However, MYSTlore's uploading currently doesn't allow for files that size, though you could use some other place to host them, such as archive.org. Chucker 10:17, 23 November 2006 (CST)

What is the current filesize limit? Would it be impossible to increase it? I can see if you don't want people to upload giant images that don't need to be that big, but would it be possible to allow different sizes for different media? 0123456789 10:27, 23 November 2006 (CST)

30 seconds of mp3 audio in 128 kbps doesn't need to take more than maybe 0.5 mb... 0123456789 10:36, 23 November 2006 (CST)

I believe the limit is currently 150 Kilobytes. Rather low, I know. No, I don't think the limit can be set based on the file format. I'll look into this more. Chucker 10:49, 23 November 2006 (CST)
