This page is written from an OOC point of view. Events and elements surrounding the Myst Universe are regarded as fictional.

Missed is an online, text-based, fan-made parody of Myst created by Jason Bloomberg. The player must help "Ascii" escape the web by finding the six keys to the internet scattered throughout the various "Places". It contains spoofs of the different Ages and their environments. The objective is similar to Myst in that the player must help free the main character while going on quests. Both the red and blue trap books from Myst are also parodied, as well as Atrus' note to Catherine.

While text-based, it includes an interactive screen that displays small icons. On the side is the inventory, usually showing each of the keys obtained. Movement is between frames, and a player can follow paths by way of up to four different option bars on the bottom of the interface.
