Naygen
From MYSTlore
Naygen (2270 - 2533 DE (5386 - 5123 BC)) was a King of D'ni from 2356 DE (5300 BC) until his death. He was given the throne for his symbolic value as the first child born after a devastating plague.
He split the Guild of Fine Artists into four Minor Guilds and made the Guild of Miners a Major Guild in 2488 DE (5168 BC). He was a strong supporter of the arts, in particular commending the plays of Sirreh and the songs of Airem.
Naygen began the construction of the Council Chamber over the Tomb of the Great King in 2502 DE (5154 BC). Secretly he had a vault built within, guarded by puzzles that protected his immense wealth.
When he died he left the throne to his third son, Hinash.
