Parable

Parable was another codename for the project that eventually turned into Uru. It is unclear how Parable differed from Mudpie; possibly, Parable added back the single-player component (Mudpie, on the other hand, was exclusively multi-player), but it could also be that Parable was merely considered a more professional- and interesting-sounding name than Mudpie — unlike Mudpie, which was mostly just used in teasers for fans, Parable was used in various interviews.

Portions of a demo DVD (made for investors and other interested parties) have been presented, with a tagline of "be the storyteller". Contents include various interviews as well as in-game pictures and videos; parts are actually from DIRT (and thus strictly speaking outdated), with other parts from Mudpie.
