Rehearsal for Myst Online: Uru Live is launching soon. Like its original variant in Uru Live (2003), it will be a test of new content. It will likely have no more than a few hundred testers, all of which will have to sign an NDA, and were selected based on their prior involvement in the community, as well as the amount of bug tickets filed during earlier tests.
By supplying the content early to Rehearsal testers, the hope is to work out any major glitches. By the time the content arrives to the public, such problems may have been fixed.
Invitations to rehearsal were sent on December 27, 2006.
