The Restoration Engineers, also known as ResEngs, are employees of the DRC. ResEngs provide regular orientations in A Beginner's Bevin, as well as respond to problems in Cavern. They also provide moderation on the DRC forums.
The ResEngs have developed an affable relationship with the explorers. Late evening orientations are often attended by veteran explorers who banter with the ResEngs.

As employees of Cyan, ResEngs act as in-game customer support and moderators. They also read and respond to bug tickets.
