[edit] History

The Ronay thrived on the world Garternay. They use the Art, which they believed was a gift from Yahvo. In their language their name meant "people of the root", being a reference to their belief that Garternay was the "Root of the Great Tree of Possibilities".

During a point of their history, it was discovered that their sun's strength was decreasing which would cause their planet to eventually become uninhabitable, and finally confirmed in 59 BE (7715 BC) before it was announced.

The Ronay planned to evacuate to Terahnee following the Nameless King, however there were a number of splinter groups that went to other Ages for various reasons, one of which were those who would later become known as the D'ni people, who came to Earth.

[edit] Government

The Ronay were ruled by a King of Garternay.

[edit] Guilds

The Ronay had a system of guilds. Students would enter a guild when they became 5 years old. There were 18 major guilds, one of which was the Guild of Writers.

By the time the Ronay fled Garternay, the Guilds had become extremely competitive with each other, with having the best facilities being extremely important to them.

[edit] Ranks

The Guilds had the ranks of Guild Master and Grand Master, among others.

[edit] Religion

At least one of the Ronay's religions involved the god Yahvo and the prophetical work the Regeltavok Oorpah.
