A Shroomie is a sea animal in Teledahn. It was thus named by Douglas Sharper during his studies of the Age and the word derives from "mushroom". Shroomies can be attracted by flappers, which are attracted to spores found in Teledahn. There are several machines throughout Teledahn that dispense these spores.
Shroomies however are afraid of the generators and don't approach the area when they operate.
