Solath
From MYSTlore
Solath (1423 - 1779 DE (6233 - 5877 BC)) was a King of D'ni.
[edit] Life
Solath was born in 1423 DE (6233 BC), the son of the Grand Master of the Guild of Writers. He took the throne in 1502 DE (6154 BC) after Ahlsendar sealed himself in the Temple of the Great King.
In 1520 DE (6136 BC) the prophet Nemiya wrote The Book of Nemiya which attacked the Great King and sent D'ni society into confusion. Nemya disappeared in 1527 DE (6129 BC), but the trouble continued. By 1550 DE (6106 BC), there was growing agreement with Nemiya's view, although Solath himself had denounced Nemiya.
Solath attempted to maintain some level of unity among the D'ni. In 1604 DE (6052 BC), he announced the plan to create a civic district called Karim. Construction began in 1610 DE (6046 BC) and the area was finished in 1650 DE (6006 BC)
Solath's first gave him two daughters but passed away in 1735 DE (5921 BC). Shortly afterwards he married a younger woman named Jolatha, a member of the controversial religious group The Tree (although Solath denied this). She gave birth to Solath's first son in 1748 DE (5908 BC).
Solath died in 1779 DE (5877 BC) and left the throne to his son Me'erta.
