Stanley Murray, also known as Gas Station Stan, is a mysterious, presumably fan-played, character who occasionally creates puzzles for fans to solve.

This section contains information that is not a canon part of the storyline.
While running a gas station in New Mexico, Stan met the DRC, as they frequently stopped at the station. He was invited to the cavern before any other explorers were allowed.
After the DRC abandoned the cavern, he closed the station, got married and went to Europe, where he opened The Journeyman Inn. He was linked back to his Relto from his home in Europe at the moment of the Bahro scream and the subsequent linking of every person in every age to their Relto.
