The Swing Vine is a peculiar plant native to Edanna that fuctions as the organic equivalent of a swing or zip line. The plant is made up of a large pod attatched to one of the more ceiling-like surfaces in the Age, which then has a single vine growing out of it that ends in what appears to be a branched handle. The vine and handle are both more than strong enough to support human weight, and so can be used by travelers to move about the Age.
It wouldn't be surprising if there are several subspecies of the swing vine, as each individual vine encountered has served a specific purpose according to its context; some seem to be merely for swinging, while others work like a simple bungee cord.
