Tahgira is one of the ages used by the Bahro to locate their Slates.
It is a cold, desolate place consisting of several large icebergs joined by bridges. Most of the age is covered in snow and ice.
It was originally used as a Prison Age by the D'ni, but the prisoners who once lived there have long since died.
It is home to a kind of water-dwelling bacteria that is attracted to heat, and when grouped together, form a dense enough surface to walk on. This trait can be utilized to form bridges over Tahgira's icy water.
