Hmm since Atrus uses the 'Old Standard', I guess if the name was 'andrEtus', he would spell it 'Andreetus'. Koena 17:49, 22 January 2008 (CST)

Atrus's name isn't in Old Standard. Neither is "Yeesha", "Aurack", or "D'ni". It is pronounced "anjreetus" in the memory. "D'ni" uses "i" for the "ee" sound, so why not "Andritus"? Gorobay 05:33, 23 January 2008 (CST)
I seem to remember Atrus pronouncing Andritus with the I rather than the ee vowel, but right now I'm not able to access Revelation and check. The article currently suggests that Atrus mispronounces the name, yet I don't think there is any evidence that would lead us to doubt his pronunciation. Talashar 07:46, 10 February 2008 (CST)
In the games, his name is often pronounced "aychrus", not "aytrus" as it would be in D'ni. That is simply a result of anglicizing a D'ni word. If the name were "a(h)ndreetus", it would naturally become "anjreetus" when anglicized. Therefore, if we hear a name that sounds like anglicized D'ni, chances are it is. Oh, sorry, I misread the article. Never mind my second sentence above, although the first still stands. Talashar 13:41, 10 February 2008 (CST)
