Talk:D'ni Council

I'm reading the Book of Ti'ana and I'm a tad confused as to the layout of the D'ni Council. There appears to be typos or in the related articles, or at least very spare information which is making me more confused. There were the five lords which was led by one particular lord (the oldest?) but that leading was only to make sure order was kept? And then there were the 18 Grand Masters? The people who are in charge of their own Guild? And then there were people like Aitrus. How did he fit in? Were there 18 Guild Masters who were below the Grand Masters? If someone could clear that up for me I'd definitely appreciate it :) --JohnLynch 23:41, 1 December 2006 (CST)

I fixed the wording of the article. What I gathered from the BoT was that there are five Lords and then 360 Masters, which works out to 20 from each Major Guild. One of these 20 would be the Grand Master. Talashar 09:22, 2 December 2006 (CST)

Thanks Talashar that helped clear it up completely for me :)

I made Template:Head of the Council and am in the process of replacing Template:Succession with it, but I am not sure of something. Five Lords says " [...] they were the heads of the Council [...] ". Does that mean every member of the Five Lords since 6977 DE (679 BC) was a head of the Council? Also, if that's true, wouldn't there be five heads of council at any given time, or was only one of the Five Lords the Head? Gorobay 19:30, 30 November 2007 (CST)

The Lords could be described as heads of the council, but only one of them was the head. Talashar 15:30, 1 December 2007 (CST)
So the only known heads of Council are Tulla, Eneah, and R'hira? Gorobay 19:41, 1 December 2007 (CST)
I think so. Talashar 07:28, 2 December 2007 (CST)
