Myst Island in tPotS is also the same size as Myst island in Myst (based on the map we see anyway). You might want to include that re-revision. --JohnLynch 03:07, 25 November 2006 (CST)
Please don't throw rotten vegetables at me! This suggestion may not come for many months if at all: Has anyone considered splitting MYSTlore into an OOC site and an IC site, or creating both an IC and an OOC version of an article where appropriate? Floydman 21:50, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
I suppose using namespaces is possible. Different sites, though? I wouldn't want to deal with the administrative overhead of that, to be blunt.

Take, for instance, the Myst (game) article. It treats the Myst universe as fictional, and it has an OOC sticker, but from an IC perspective, the article would be a little different. It just seems jumbled to me to have some articles IC and some of them OOC. I've just now realized the enormous amount of effort it would take to transform all the current articles, so I won't be let down if nothing happens. But, where appropriate (like the Myst (game) article) would you object to users creating two versions of an article? Floydman 01:42, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
I guess I don't really see much that could be said about the Myst game from an IC perspective. The Age? Sure. The game… not so much.
I suppose, ideally, we'd have a way for the user to set that they want to read MYSTlore (almost) entirely as IC, but I can't really think of a good way to do that. I also don't know of a good example for this that we could look at. The fact that Cyan has actually made itself and the games part of canon is very unusual.
I'm open for any suggestions, but feel we need to discuss this thoroughly before implementing any such drastic structural changes. Chucker 01:46, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
