AFAIK the Great Tree was created by Yahvo (as well as all the Ages), not by writers. I am significally rewriting the article to reflect this. Koena 09:45, 2 August 2007 (CDT)

Actually, that's the creation myth (which need an article). But, the perspective that the Great Tree is a metaphor is also valid. I'd rather see both perspectives in the article. Blade Lakem 10:06, 2 August 2007 (CDT)
