Anyway this could be formatted as it is generated? Blade Lakem 10:12, 22 April 2007 (CDT) It is currently optimized towards easy parsing. It could be formatted, but not without significant code changes which aren't a priority right now. I'll do it eventually. Chucker 10:24, 22 April 2007 (CDT)

Slightly better. There must be a smoother way of doing this, however… Chucker 16:12, 22 April 2007 (CDT)

I hate to just wander in and complain again, but this stuck me: "An article must have no more than one such template; each article corresponds to at most one coordinate." I can see wanting to have multiple gz-coords listed in one article - for example, a list of markers. Maybe we can have a non-aggregating gz-coords template so we can use that in those cases, so we don't collide with this functionality? Blade Lakem 17:06, 22 April 2007 (CDT)

Nono, please do feel free to make suggestions. :-) I just don't want to give you false hope of how soon I can implement them.
To clarify: you *can* use the template multiple times on an article. It's just that the aggregator currently ignores everything but the first occurrence, and that the special page treats the first occurrence as the one representing the article's title. Chucker 17:40, 22 April 2007 (CDT)
Maybe two templates then? One for this list, and one for just showing the coords with the symbols next to them? Or maybe a field in the template that gives the text that should show in this list, like {{gz-coords|2|34|34233|Calibration Mission 1, Marker 2}}? Blade Lakem 13:46, 23 April 2007 (CDT)

Is it just me, or are all these mentions on the Recent Changes page extremely annoying and disorganizing? Marein 16:34, 23 April 2007 (CDT)

The edits will eventually show up as bot edits, so they won't be normally visible (unless you click "Show bots", of course). That said… you're welcome? ;-P Chucker 09:56, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

This article shows up on the Dead-end pages page. What's up? Floydman 10:49, 23 February 2008 (CST)

The entire page is inside mlGZCoordinateList tags, and Special:Deadendpages thinks a page is a dead end if it doesn't link using brackets. This page links a different way, but Special:Deadendpages doesn't know that. Gorobay 12:10, 23 February 2008 (CST)
Yup. The links are generated on the fly and therefore not visible to the dead-end pages tool. If someone knows of a way to exclude a page from it, be my guest. Otherwise, I don't see a way to fix this any time soon. Chucker 12:14, 23 February 2008 (CST)
