Quoting myself:

to certify that an area (typically an entire Age) is safe.

Is it typically an entire Age, or always? Does the guild ever do it per-area, or always for the whole Age? Chucker 21:51, 23 December 2006 (CST)

[edit] KI Coordination

Using a properly calibrated KI, though, a maintainers' mark also doubles as an Age's point zero, thus allowing for navigation through coordinates.

Does this mean that the KI can give coordinates for places in Age? I have properly calibrated my KI and the coordinates are always listed as 0, 0, 0 when I am not in D'ni. 141.154.38.160 15:41, 11 August 2007 (CDT)

I'm actually not positive if this is speculation or known. At any rate, it is currently not possible, but may be in the future. Chucker 15:48, 11 August 2007 (CDT)
I've heard people on the forums stating that if you start a marker game in an Age, you do get coordinates when you pick up the markers. I think it's just a matter of time before the KI displays coordinates for other Ages. -Paradox 15:55, 11 August 2007 (CDT)
