Talk:Mangree language
From MYSTlore
I thought using the term language might imply more about the mangree's abilities to communicate than is currently known, so I changed it to the more neutral system of communication. I also removed a statement about phonemes not existing: any meaningful system of vocal communication would have phonemes or the equivalent, by definition. Talashar 19:54, 15 October 2007 (CDT)
- By phonemes I meant the different sounds represented by the IPA, like ɱ and ʛ. The mangrees don't use them. They use tone and length. Gorobay 05:23, 16 October 2007 (CDT)
