Among the pages related to this are artistic license and canon. Chucker 19:06, 2 August 2007 (CDT) Also, Fictional nature, particularly Fictional nature#Revisionism. Chucker 19:07, 2 August 2007 (CDT)

All of these actually fall under the category of artistic license. XeresRazor 19:09, 2 August 2007 (CDT)

I don't think they are totally identical however. This article presents these facts from the perspective of conceptual change of the Myst universe through time, not what is true and what isn't. Also, the change of the pronunciation is just plain retcon, no artistic license explanation given so far, so it can be included only here. Koena 19:29, 2 August 2007 (CDT)
I believe Cyan's explained the pronunciation difference as the fact that Myst 5 is the first time we've met a native D'Ni speaker in the form of Esher.XeresRazor 19:41, 2 August 2007 (CDT)
Still, I consider it a retcon nonetheless. Also, this explanation is not logically satisfactory: Anna had met real D'ni before teaching Atrus D'ni and most of all, Atrus and Catherine had already met them by the time of Exile so if they had any mistakes, they would have them corrected by then. There's still a difference in pronunciation between a native born speaker and learning the language from a native speaker, I'll contact RAWA and request a carification though XeresRazor 19:41, 2 August 2007 (CDT)
