It seems to be what the text implies. A'gaeris is described as adopting the red uniform and shaved head of D'ni prisoners, exactly what is seen in the afterimage. The only way for anyone to rescue Veovis would be to link to his Prison Age before the book is burned, which suggests that the afterimage is in fact A'gaeris. Otherwise his preparations in the preceding scene don't make any sense. I can't remember if it was ever laid out officially, though. Talashar 14:08, 13 May 2008 (CDT)
