Temple of the Tree

The Temple of the Tree is a temple built in D'ni by King Me'erta for the religious cult known as The Tree.

The Temple was built in 1843 DE ^{(5813 BC)} under the orders of King Me'erta and was the first instance of a King of D'ni supporting beliefs other than those espoused by Ri'neref.

After Jolatha had the seal of the Tomb of the Great King broken in 1999 DE ^{(5657 BC)}, she removed several books and a fragment of robe she claimed to be from the robe of the Great King. She placed them in the Temple of the Tree. The books remained there even after Me'erta had the Tomb sealed up again.
