Tevahr
From MYSTlore
Tevahr was born in 3000 DE (4656 BC) and grew up a devout follower of the Ahlsendar, poring over his words and teachings. By the time Tevahr was 65 he became appalled with the state of D'ni society. He began speaking publicly and in only a few years gathered a following. He was a well known man by the time he criticized the government for its lack of faith and departure Yahvo's teachings in 3077 DE (4579 BC). He criticized the placement of the Council Chamber over the Tomb of the Great King and garnered quite a lot of support against the government for building the Council Chamber there.
In retaliation King Rakeri denounced Tevahr and his teachings and threatened to imprison Tevahr. However Tevahr remained free when in 3081 DE (4575 BC) Rakeri attended one of Tevahr's public speeches in an attempt to ridicule the prophet. Instead the two got in a heated debate that Tevahr clearly won. Although Rakeri could have probably ordered Tevahr's death, he instead returned to the palace and thought on what had been said. Five days later Tevahr was called to the palace where Rakeri apologised for the D'ni people both past and present and offered for Tevahr to become his main prophet.
It was most likely Rakeri and Tevahr who brought the people together to once more adhere to the teachings of the Church of Yahvo, because in 3100 DE (4556 BC) there were only 47 registered sects, significantly lower then the 2500 registered in 2500 DE (5156 BC). In 3112 DE (4544 BC) he stood by Rakeri's side as the king announced extensive renovations for the Great Temple. When Tevahr died in 3218 DE (4438 BC) Rakeri ordered five days of mourning with most being quite saddened by the prophets' passing. Only a few sects protested the official mourning period.
