Tremal

Tremal was a Guild Master of the Guild of Writers during the reign of King Me'erta.
In 1975 DE (5681 BC), Me'erta attempted to persuade the Guild to relax its restrictions and change the oath of the Guild from what Ailesh had written. Tremal opposed these changes, arguing that they would pull D'ni away from its founding principles. He was found dead soon after, possibly at the order of Me'erta's mother, Jolatha. According to legend he was discovered hanging from a tree.
The death of Tremal galvanized the Guild against Me'erta's attempts. Me'erta eventually gave up trying.
