Unseen Creatures of Riven

In the linking cave to Tay in Riven, various stones depicted creatures found in the age. Some are well-known such as the sunner, but most are not. Some resemble rabbits, salamanders, fish, or even elephants, but some are hard to describe. Some of these creatures may have gone extinct by the time the Stranger went to Riven, due to the deterioration of the age and over-hunting. However, they may have still existed, out on the ocean or in the inaccessible parts of the age; or they may have been elusive enough to avoid being seen. After the destruction of Riven, it is unlikely that any of them survived.
