*cough* "spelt" is not a typo. It's an alternate spelling of the past tense and past participle for 'to spell'. So, don't "correct" them; they aren't wrong. ;-) Chucker 02:46, 25 April 2007 (CDT)
- *checks Google and the etymology of the word* I stand corrected; spelt is as correct as spelled. If I ever used the word spelt in school the teachers were very quick to correct me. They always implied that it was the same the world over, since they always pointed out anything that had localised spelling differences. Proof that my 9th-grade English teacher WASN'T always right! :D Feel free to change it back, if you want.
