The zeftyr is a deer-like animal that inhabits Achenar's Prison Age, Haven. Like deer, they are herbivores, and like many herbivores they tend to group together in herds. Occasionally, one will stray from the herd. Lone zeftyrs are likely to become the next meal of a camoudile, the zeftyr's main predator. Zeftyrs are bipedal, and only use their underdeveloped arms as feeding tools. The zeftyr appears to have no method of defense, other than its impressive agility, which it will display at the slightest provocation.

Arguably, the anatomy of the zeftyr bears a striking resemblance to the Cocytan creature in the Lucas Arts game The Dig, but it is not known if this is a homage, a rip-off or a pure coincidence. A screenshot from The Dig can be found here.
